Shopping list
Staples return here when you mark the last matching food as used or discarded. Foods still in the fridge, freezer or pantry stay off the list.
Email and password
Email signup becomes available once email delivery is connected. Closed-beta access still needs approval.
To add an email login when available, sign in as usual, then open Preferences → Ways to sign in. Your foods and household stay on the same account.
Add food with a photo
Open Add food with a photo, then take or choose pictures. Keep snapping; recognized foods appear in your kitchen automatically.

If the live preview cannot open, choose Use phone camera or Choose photos. Your browser controls camera permission; you can change it in the site settings.
Check / update the actual package date
Open a food’s details to edit its storage, add a date photo or move it to your other kitchen.
No printed date? Køkkenro estimates a quality date from the food and its storage, including homemade bread. Unknown-age perishables may need a check today.
Estimated, not a printed best-before or use-by date. A photo cannot confirm food safety. Follow the actual label and storage instructions.

Leftovers and cooked meals stay off the automatic list. Uncategorized foods join after you record them more than once.
Add extras above the list, one per line or separated by commas. You can also add from a photo. Tap a name for options; tick the box when bought.
Adding a matching food to the kitchen removes it from the shopping list. Packaged foods match by name; common produce matches by food type.
Not this time hides a food until it runs out again. Don’t buy again keeps it off the automatic list.
Household
Use the kitchen switcher above your foods to choose your personal or household kitchen. Creating a household keeps your personal foods where they are.
Everyone here can add, edit and mark shared foods as used or discarded, and see their saved photos. Your personal kitchen remains separate.
Shared kitchens have one shopping list. Personal kitchens stay separate.
Saving…
Saving happens in the background. If you see Not saved yet, keep the app’s data and use Retry. Pending foods stay out of meal ideas until saved.
Your reminders
Browser reminders work while the app is open. Export dates to your calendar for reminders outside the app.
Optional daily or weekly reminders from 17:00. At most one reminder a day, only for new dates to check. While background delivery is unavailable, the app must be open.
Quietly set older foods aside
Optional for this kitchen. After the grace period, foods move to history with status unknown. They are never counted as eaten or discarded.
Runs when this kitchen is opened. Freezer foods and check reminders stay in place. Restore or classify foods in history.
Your kitchen stays yours
Personal kitchens stay private. Household kitchen foods and photos are shared with its members. Download the selected inventory any time.
Photo reading sends photos to an AI service. Keep faces and personal information out of your pictures.
